People think of women when they think of Breast Cancer. Most participants of fund raisers for the Cure are women and many think that men just don't understand or really care enough about the cause of the Cure.
However, men are beginning to take a stand against Breast Cancer. Many men have lost their wives, mothers, and daughters to this cancer. They care too and realize it's time to do something about it.
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk done to raise money for Breast Cancer. 1,661 of the 30,150 participants last year were men and they are hoping for that number to increase in years to come. Men care.
